Well he is officially already graduated... I am trying to get all caught up before I have all of my weddings this summer. Dylan was just great to work with. He is so original, and had some really fun ideas that he brought to the shoot. He is really into sci-fi and comics, so we brainstormed and came up with some fun shots. Dylan was also really involved with his high school drama department. He has been the lead in several of the plays and musicals the high school as put on. He is easy going, and incredibly funny. He made the shoot entertaining, and memorable for me.
Some of these shots we had the idea for, but I really had no idea how I was going to pull it off in post processing. Needless to say, I learned a lot from this shoot. I learned lots of new techniques, and even learned some things not to do in the future for special shots. We took some normal and fun shots, and in post processing, I even made some of them "look" like comic cartoons.
He was a trooper, and we shot during two snow storms during this shoot. He was a popsicle by the end, but I think it was well worth it:) I love it when a Senior, knows who they are and is willing to try to show that in their senior portraits. We ended up going with a comic strip theme for his grad card design. Overall I just had such a great time, and am so excited I got to know him a little bit through this. Thank you Dylan for an awesome time, and congrats on graduating!!
